Executive skills for grades 7 to 9
Grades 7 to 9 often know the subject and still miss the work. A 60-minute session plans, starts, and finishes a real assignment.
By 7th grade the assignment is longer than a worksheet. A student can understand the chapter and still turn nothing in, because the work was never broken into steps.
These sessions are 60 minutes and one-on-one. The teacher uses an assignment the student already has. Together they read the directions, list the steps, estimate the time, start the first step, and check the result against the directions.
This track is separate from Pre-K through 6th grade tutoring. It is not test prep, and it is not a software product.
